Join the Android beta

Use the same Google account for the tester group and the Play Store on your phone. Finish steps 1 and 2 before the app appears in Play.

  1. 1. Join the tester group

    Choose Join group, then return here. Joining the group does not opt you in on Google Play.

  2. 2. Become a tester

    Open the Play testing page, choose Become a tester, then continue.

  3. 3. Install from Google Play

    Works after steps 1 and 2. Use the same Google account for all three steps. Can take a few minutes to appear.

    After you become a tester, open Couples Alarm in the Play Store and install it. Keep it installed and stay opted in for 14 days so the app can launch publicly.

If something looks wrong

  • Play says “not found” or you’re not eligible: finish steps 1 and 2 with the same Google account selected in the Play Store, wait a minute, then try again.
  • Already in the group? Skip to step 2.
  • Already installed? Use Update when Play offers it.
